Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been issued to Grim for the 1995-96 Champions League campaign. Grim was an unused substitute in all of the Champions League games playing as a back-up to legendary keeper Edwin van der Sar. Louis van Gaal's side were in incredible form at this time confirming their status as Europe's best team and becoming world champions by beating Gremio in the Intercontinental Cup. They went all the way to the Champions League Final again this season but lost out to Juventus on penalties in Rome. Grim who joined the club in '94 from Cambuur made only 1 appearance in this season but would become the first choice goalkeeper between 1999-02 and picked up many medals in one of Ajax's most famed eras.
