Notes - Vintage Go Nazionale boots produced by Lotto around 1994, believed to be released some time around the 1994 World Cup in the USA, This classic boot is a reflection of high quality Italian craftsmanship, featuring a genuine lightweight kangaroo upper, Lotto logos on either side and a personalised fold-over stitched tongue - a signature piece of their boots in this era including on the famous In Stadio silo. The soleplate consists of 13 rubber studs made suitable for use on firm ground surfaces. This stylish green and black colourway was used by many top players during this era including the likes of former England man Mark Wright and 1987 Ballon d'Or winner Ruud Gullit. Lotto famously sponsored the Dutch National Team during the 1994 World Cup, while also supplying numerous boots for many players at the competition. It is believed this particular pair was made by the Italian manufacturer in tribute to their own national side who famously reached the final of the competition before coming up short to Brazil on penalties.
