Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been prepared for Friis-Hansen in the friendly match against England played at Wembley on the 9th March 1994. It was the first meeting of the sides since Euro 92 but this time Denmark were on the losing side unable to come back from David Platt's 16th-minute goal for the hosts. The joy of wearing their European Championship winning kit was nearly over for the De Rød-Hvide, they only played two more games in it before a new design was introduced. Friis-Hansen was on the bench and did not join the action. At club level, the defender developed most of his career at Lille and represented Denmark 19 times between 1990 and 1996.
