Notes - Home shirt as worn when Forest continued to succeed in their post Brian Clough era. Having bounced back from relegation in the previous campaign, Forest didn't spend any time outside the top six all season and even mounted some what of a title charge. The title challenge lost momentum with a poor run of form mid-season but Frank Clark's side regained their form to go 13 unbeaten in the end of season run in. Striker Stan Collymore found the net on 22 occasions this campaign before departing for Liverpool. This design was also worn the following season when the side reached the UEFA Cup Quarter-Finals - only to be beaten 7-2 on aggregate by Bayern Munich. The side struggled to replace Collymore's goals and fell to a 9th place Premier League finish
