Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by Verlaat in the 1993-94 Coupe de France campaign. Auxerre had never won the Coupe de France since being founded in 1905 but that all changed in this glorious season. GSI Pontivy, Sedan, Sète, Racing 92 and Nantes were all dispatched to set up a Final with Montpellier at the Parc des Princes on the 14th May 1994. This classic Adidas design was worn in all of the side's matches in the competition including the Final itself. The Final was a memorable day in the history of AJA as Guy Roux's men cruised to an emphatic 3-0 victory with goals from Saïb, Baticle and Martins. Verlaat spent 3 years at the Stade de l'Abbé-Deschamps after signing from Lausanne in '92 and playing in all of the 6 Coupe de France matches and contributing 2 goals
