Notes - Ultra rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by Selley during the 1993-94 season. The youngster had come up through the ranks at Highbury and made his way into the first team the previous season. This year he featured 26 times in all competitions as The Gunners climbed to 4th in the Premier League and claimed The Cup Winners Cup for the first time in their history with a 1-0 victory over Parma in Copenhagen. Selley was a key player in Europe featuring 7 times and notably grabbing a goal in the 6-0 thumping of Standard Liège. He struggled with injuries after breaking his leg against Leicester in 1995 but stayed on the books at Highbury until 1997 when he joined Fulham and later had spells with a whole host of lower league and Non-League sides. This classic Adidas Equipment design was worn in both 92-93 and 93-94 but only in the latter with player names on the back.
