Notes - High quality kids boots produced by Diadora around 1992, dedicated to then AC Milan and Netherlands forward Marco Van Basten. These special boots are made with a genuine leather upper for soft touch and durability. An enlarged tongue features underneath an orthodox lacing system - both signature features of Diadora boots during this time. This model is personlised heavily with a black, orange and white colourway to signify the classic dutch colours, along with a printed 'Van Basten' signature on the outside of each boot. The rubber outsole supports 6 plastic studs, suitable for use on soft ground surfaces. Van Basten won three Serie A titles and three European Cups while at Milan, during a spell he also claimed three Ballon d'Or awards. The forward is often best remembered for his unbelievable goal against the Soviet Union during the Euro 1988 final that famously helped the Netherlands to the title in West Germany.
