Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been issued for the 1992-93 Champions League campaign. Rangers had defeated Lyngby and Leeds United to qualify for the first ever group stage of the new Champions League format. At this stage of the competition a Champions League sleeve patch was introduced and sponsors logos were prohibited by UEFA. The Gers were drawn in a group with Marseille, CSKA Moscow and Club Brugge and came incredibly close to reaching the Final. Walter Smith's men did not lose a match and if results had have gone differently on the final matchday it would have been them and not Marseille who went through to play AC Milan in Munich. A real classic from when Rangers came so close to reaching the Final of the first ever Champions League
