Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn by May in the Second Division Play-Off Final match against Leicester City played at Wembley Stadium on the 25 May 1992. The side won promotion to the newly-formed Premiership after beating 1- 0 the Foxes thanks to a penalty converted by Newell in the 45th-minute. May played regularly during the whole season and completed the full game here as well. The defender came through the club's youth ranks and made his debut in 1988 being part of the squad until 1994 when signed for Manchester United.
