The side had lost 2-0 in Brussels in the 1st leg and fell behind again on home soil with Luc Nilis opening the scoring for the visitors. Rodax struck an equaliser though and this game finished in a 1-1 draw. The forward's fine form in finishing as the Bundesliga's top scorer this season saw him snapped up by Spanish giants Atletico Madrid. Rodax spent only one year at the Calderon though later return to the club who merged with VfB Mödling in 1997 and then SK Schwadorf in 2008
