Notes - Elite-model boots produced by Umbro some-time around the late 1980s, launched as part of their signature collection for legendary endorsee Pele. This Elite is made from Umbro's cross-stitched splash leather that has been engineered to provide the tractional touch of classic leather models but with an improved water resistance for minimal uptake and faster drying. An enlarged tongue was a common component of the 80s period and a long-lasting feature from the days Pele graced the game's biggest stage, while the stitched outsole sports flex point grooves that move with the foot's natural arch. A simple six stud configuration makes up the soleplate, engineered for best use on soft ground surfaces. This edition comes in a simplistic Black and White colourway that also sports a custom 'Pele' stitched tab on the tongue. Pele famously wore Umbro during his illustrious career that delivered three World Cup triumphs and a record-breaking 77 goals in 92 games for Brazil
