Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Dennerby in the UEFA Cup Winners Cup Second Round 2nd leg against FC Haka played at Tehtaan kenttä, Valkeakoski on the 2nd November 1983. This was the club's first ever run in European competition and they had defeated Albanians 17 Nëntori Tirana in the 1st Round. The 1st leg of this tie in Stockholm had been a 1-1 draw and there was little to choose between the two sides in this all-Scandanavian affair. It was first blood to the Swedes with Holmberg getting HIF off to the perfect start after just 3 minutes. But the Finnish outfit battled back and equalised before half-time, the scoreline remained the same at full-time and so it was into extra-time. And there it was Kujanpää who found a winner for the hosts. That was it for Hammarby in their debut European campaign but they would manage to qualify for the UEFA Cup for 84-85, enjoying on of the best periods in their history up to this point.
