Notes - Ultra rare and highly collectable Talbot sponsored home shirt from the early 80's, to get round the ban on sponsors being displayed on clubs shirts at televised matches Jimmy Hill plotted to get the clubs name changed to Coventry Talbot, but when this failed the club produced this shirt with a Big T symbol displayed vividly, although it was not allowed to be worn when the cameras were at the stadium it was a revolutionary shirt |
