Notes - Extremely rare player shirt of the right back Andrei Chernychov #2 from the European Championships in 1992, the USSR had qualified for this tournament but they ceased to exist from 1st Jan. 1992, two days later FIFA approved CIS for the competition, CIS only wore this style shirt at the Finals after which they disbanded as each of the individual nations making up the CIS reformed their own national sides, Chernychov played in all 3 matches at the competition as the side went out in the group stages after a draw with Germany and defeats to Holland & Scotland and won a total of 29 international caps, a highy collectable shirt and a great piece of early 90's Eastern European football memorabilia |
