Notes - Extremely rare player shirt worn by a member of the Irish Football League XI against Fort Lauderdale Strikers on their USA Tour in July 1989, the match was played in Florida and the tour also included a fixture against the USA national team in Connecticut, the Irish Football League XI was made up of the top performing players from the Northern Irish league, Linfield were the reigning champions at this time with Glentoran runners-up so it is likely quite of few of their players would have featured, a very obscure and interesting item |
